My original conversion idea was that converters would read STDIN and write STDOUT
For a while, that idea coexisted with the %I/%O idea
The "redirection" version of convert is still in there
It's never used
I should take it out
I hate throwing away good code
This seems like an argument in favor of a good source code management system
