print: File conversion

• So how is all this information actually used?

• print constructs a directed graph that says what conversions are possible

• It knows where it starts and where it wants to go (PCL)

• It does breadth-first search on the graph to find a conversion path

• The graph is represented as a hash:

        { email => ["latex"],
          pod => ["3"],
          pl => ["txt", "ps"],
          txt => ["ps"],
          dvi => ["ps", "pcl"],
          ps => ["pcl"], 
          ...
        }
