Variable member names

        push @{$self->{$self->key}}, ...;

• This is clearly more complex than the equivalent code in the original module:

        push @{$O{$self}}, ...;

• Is it really a win?

• Overall, I think so

• It turns out that $self->{$self->key} appears in only one place!
