        print_table($squares, $page, $winner, $round, $rounds);

• Gross earnings: 14 lines removed

• It may seem miraculous that lines 189--251 contained only 14 lines of code

• This is after I removed duplicated code

• In the original program, there were 22 lines of code

• This means about 3/1 space to code ratio

• Perhaps this is excessive
